About Anita O’Brien, MSc, BSc, MISCP
Anita established the clinic in 2019 and is current clinic director. Anita’s vision is to have a positive learning environment for patients and staff to allow patients to reach their exercises goals.
Upon completion of undergraduate and masters at Trinity College Dublin, Anita started work in SSC where she gained experience working with some of Ireland’s top orthopaedic consultants. Anita, now an MSK clinical specialist, has over 10 years of diverse experience working with professional athletes with the IRFU, Boxing Ireland, Cricket Ireland and working with professional tennis players on the WTA tour to treating everyday back, neck and recreational injuries. Anita was also lead physio for the Dublin Senior Ladies Football team for 4 successive All Irelands from 2017-2020. Anita is a volunteer member on the Chartered Physiotherapist in Sports and Exercise Medicine committee.
About Fionn McLaughlin
Fionn is an experienced and knowledgeable Athletic Therapist with extra qualifications in Strength & Conditioning and Personal Training.
Fionn completed his Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy in South-East Technological University, Carlow, and his qualifications in Health and Exercise Fitness in University of Limerick.
Fionn enjoys a hybrid approach to training focussing on a mix of Powerlifting, Olympic Lifting and Bodybuilding as well as having a keen interest in Golf and GAA
About Sophie Murtagh
Sophie graduated with first-class honours from Cardiff University and has experience working at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, specializing in orthopaedic inpatient and post-operative rehabilitation. She previously worked as a sports massage therapist and personal trainer, coaching both individuals and teams. During her time in Wales, she also gained physiotherapy experience with Ospreys RFC.
Sports, especially basketball, tennis, and football have always been a big part of her life. Having undergone ACL rehabilitation at a young age, she developed a strong interest in physiotherapy and strength training. More recently, she has enjoyed playing padel, going to the gym, and practicing Pilates.
